A word about grading. We grade items accurately and we follow a modified
form of the TCA grading standard. We modified the grading standard as we
believe that (A) there is no such grade as un-run and (B) there are no mint
items unless the item is still sealed in its original factory box. Add to
this that The Lionel Corporation's quality standard required that every
engine and operating car be tested before being packed. That being the case,
referring to something as un-run or mint only refers to operation outside of
