Below you will find one of the nicest 2240 Wabash
A-B units you will see anywhere. Both the powered A and the B unit
are C-9. There is a 1/16" factory touchup on the gray, but otherwise
this is an exceptionally nice high grade set. There's no evidence of
flaking of the blue paint anywhere on either unit, especially with
respect to the frames. The power unit box is solid and crisp, while
the B unit box has one taped inner flap. The original wrapping paper
is in nice condition as is the instruction sheet.
Flaws (if any): Battery decal has small corner peel; 1/16" small
factory touchup of gray on the B unit; one flap on B unit box taped.
Special Notes: None
Grading: In our opinion the A Power Unit is a C-9; the B unit is a
C-9; the power box is a C-9/10 and the B unit box is a C-8
